The Role: Roofing Estimator

Are you a detail-driven professional passionate about organizing, estimating, and delivering exceptional results? As a Roofing Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing cost estimates, submitting proposals, and coordinating with clients and contractors to deliver top-quality roofing solutions. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities):

• Plan, organize, and set goals for assigned projects to meet critical deadlines.
• Utilize your expertise to estimate job costs and submit competitive proposals for review.
• Manage pre-bid to post-bid processes, creating show drawings, drafting submittal letters, and collecting product data sheets, samples, and related materials as needed.
• Use bid logs to track your proposals and closed bids.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders like engineers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors, addressing changes and resolving cost-related issues.
• Draft clear and concise proposals for general contractors, private clients, and other customers.
• Ensure accuracy in estimating cost-effectiveness by tracking actual costs relative to original bids throughout project development.
• Maintain and regularly update a directory of reliable suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors for seamless project coordination.
• Act as the go-to resource for client inquiries and liaise with project management, service, and office departments to ensure flawless handoffs and seamless delivery from start to finish.
• Contribute to overall operational success by assisting in budget development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Who You Are (Qualifications):

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and well-versed in estimating processes within the commercial roofing or construction industry.
• Comfortable juggling multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Strong communicator with a knack for building solid relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Able to consult, collaborate, and negotiate with various project stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
• Technically skilled in bid monitoring, budget development, and project tracking with a commitment to delivering quality at every step.
